Lucille’s gratitude to God for His mercy, grace and abundant blessing on the lives of her family has motivated her passion to help others that are less fortunate. Her sincerity is evidenced by her involvement in numerous youth oriented and community projects. Lucille’s straightforward attitude and ability to adapt to any situation has equipped her with a tireless ability to serve. Whether chairing fundraising benefits like “Shaq’s Mama Said Knock You Out!” (A safe boxing event featuring celebrity hosts Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, to benefit The Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund; named in memory of her Mother) or rolling up her sleeves to assist other organizations at the grass roots level, Lucille gives her all for the cause. Her commitment and devotion to be a blessing to others is conveyed through extraordinary volunteer efforts (past and present) and involvement with numerous organizations. Lucille’s dedication to diverse causes underscores her heart for humanity. She has made countless contributions to various charities and continues to be an inspiration to many people, young and old. (See philanthropic contributions pg. 2)
After 30 years of raising two sons and two daughters, Lucille resumed her studies in an Adult Education Program at Bethune-Cookman College where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (June 2003). Most recently she completed her graduate program (Master of Arts in Organizational Management) at the
The scripture Psalms 34: 3 - 4 (Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart) has been a personal creed for Lucille throughout her life. The creed has now become a legacy that she faithfully passes on to her children and everyone that she encounters. She is presently pursuing her ultimate dream to own and manage a consulting firm, and make a positive yet personal impact in today’s business world while supporting her church (a quaint family focused work, centered in the heart of Orlando’s Parramore District “910 Church of God” Orlando, FL) and her community.
Recently, the Lord placed a mantle on Lucille to speak words of encouragement, empowerment and inspiration to women (mothers, youth and seniors), men and families from a very practical and relevant platform, her personal life experiences. Through her trials and testimonies Lucille has remained a pillar of unwavering faith and obedience to God’s direction and solutions for victorious living.
Her hobbies include modeling, traveling and reading, singing in the church choir and listening to a verity of music. Her favorite music is today’s contemporary gospel; she attends the annual celebration of the industry’s prominent leaders at the Stellar Awards.
Although she is soft spoken and gentle, she remains strong and courageous. Lucille will always remind you that…GOD HAS THE MASTER PLAN!
